Shipping & delivery

Everything is made to order, so delivery is arranged with you once the piece is finished rather than promised as a fixed date at checkout.

1. Lead times

Nothing is held in stock. A lead time is quoted in your written proposal and depends on the piece, the wood and what is already on the bench when the order is confirmed.

We confirm the lead time in writing before you pay a deposit, and tell you as soon as we know if it is going to move. Where a delay makes the order pointless for you, you may cancel and be refunded what you have paid.

Ask for a current estimate before you plan around a date — the honest answer changes from month to month.

2. Sofia

We deliver within Sofia ourselves. That means the piece is handled by the people who made it, brought into the room you want it in, unpacked, and the packaging taken away.

We agree a two-hour window with you the day before. Someone over 18 needs to be there to accept the delivery.

3. Rest of Bulgaria and the EU

Outside Sofia we use a carrier suited to the piece — a general courier for small objects, a furniture carrier for anything large or fragile.

Delivery is quoted per order, because the cost depends on volume, weight, destination and access. The figure appears in your proposal before you commit; there are no charges added afterwards.

  • Small objects — ceramics, accessories — travel by standard courier.
  • Furniture travels blanket-wrapped or crated, depending on the piece and the distance.
  • Delivery outside the EU is possible but is quoted case by case, and any duties or import taxes are yours to pay.

4. Access, stairs and assembly

Please measure before you order. Doorways, stair turns, lift dimensions and ceiling heights decide whether a finished piece can physically reach the room, and a solid table does not flex.

  • Tell us about stairs, narrow turns, or the absence of a lift when you enquire.
  • Where a piece cannot be brought in whole, we design it to come apart — but that has to be decided before it is built.
  • Larger pieces are delivered part-assembled and put together in the room. There is no charge for this.

If access turns out to be impossible on the day and we were not told about it, a second delivery attempt is charged at cost.

5. What to check on arrival

  1. Look at the packaging before it is opened and note any damage on the delivery paperwork.
  2. Check the piece itself — top surfaces, edges, feet and any glass or stone.
  3. Confirm the specification: dimensions, wood, finish and hardware, against your proposal.

Report transit damage within 48 hours, with photographs of the packaging as well as the piece. The procedure is under returns, section 6.

6. Collection from the workshop

You are welcome to collect. We agree a time, have the piece wrapped and ready, and help you load it.

Bring straps and blankets for anything large. Risk passes to you once the piece is loaded, so please make sure the vehicle is suitable — we will say so plainly if we think it is not.

The workshop is at Boulevard "Tsarigradsko shose" 133, 1784 Sofia. Arrange collection on +359 87 929 4862.
